Reconciliation

Reconciliation, formerly known as confession or penance, and the Eucharist are twin sacraments that work in tandem to facilitate our journey home to a life of eternal and abundant happiness with God and His family.

The life preserver of salvation has been tossed to us who are drowning in the stormy seas of godlessness. Its line is firmly in the hands of God who is ready to pull us home. All we need do is consent to be saved. We must grab the life preserver of salvation and hold on tight as God pulls us home to a life of eternal and abundant happiness with Him and His family.

The enemy does not want us to leave godlessness so he bangs on our hands to try to get us to lose our grip. At times, the enemy succeeds. God anticipated that the enemy would attempt to interfere with our salvation so He invented the sacrament of Reconciliation. Through Reconciliation we regain our grip on the life preserver of salvation and once again can enjoy the ride as God pulls us home. Reconciliation puts our salvation back into our hands.
